An event that featured worker cooperatives, another large public forum in our Poverty to Prosperity series and international visitors from Russia, Ecuador and France were highlights of the week of November 10 at Great Cities Institute.

On November 13, 2014, Great Cities Institute, along with the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy (IRRPP), and in partnership with the French Consulate, is hosting Andrew Diamond from University of Paris-Sorbonne.
Attention to issues related to global climate change received a boost yesterday with estimates of 400,000 people marching alongside New York City’s Central Park.
