Timothy Johnson is Senior Fellow with NORC at the University of Chicago and Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Director of the Survey Research Laboratory from 1996-2019. Tim’s research focuses on science policy, sources of survey error, and the social epidemiology of health behaviors. He has previously served as President of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (2017-18), the World Association for Public Opinion Research (2021-22) and is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.
